Why we give back
Many families in the US and abroad are lucky enough to have the help that they need, whether from us or from other college admissions consultants, to position themselves well in the college application process. Yet, most do not. At IvyLeagueCoach, we want to do our part to help high potential students who otherwise cannot get the assistance they may need for the college application process.
This American Life is an excellent podcast that recently had an episode entitled "Three Miles". In it, they describe a program that brings together kids from two schools. One school is public and in the country’s poorest congressional district. The other is private and costs $43,000/year. They are three miles apart. The hope is that kids connect, but some of the public school kids just can’t get over the divide. They chronicle what happens when you get to see the other side and it looks a lot better. Their story, and others like it, are a sad reality of what college applications can become for those who do not have the means to secure the help they need.
How to get Pro-Bono help
Since 2007, we've helped numerous families who qualify as underprivileged through the college and medical school admissions process. We work on constantly giving back to students who may need our help and encourage you to contact us if you feel you qualify for assistance but are not able to afford it.
